Objectives
The objective of this course is to develop skilled people who are able to maintain international standards in Footwear Design and production. These skilled workers/designers will then be able to meet competition creatively and intelligently.
The scope lies in enabling individuals to design footwear creatively and scientifically, manage production of footwear, adhere to international quality standards, market fashion and manage an enterprise.
After successful completion of this course, individuals can get waged employment/entry level jobs as duplicators to assist the designers, floor supervisors to manage the production,, office jobs to oversee export documentation and formalities, quality inspectors to certify the international quality norms, free lance designers as service provider to small and medium enterprises (SMEs) or can set an enterprise/production unit of their own.
